Since Sarah last provided a session for 红玫瑰社区, there have been several significant developments in the field of equality and employment law that impact on how schools should approach supporting gender questioning and transgender pupils. She will cover the legal framework and recent case law that will be relevant to teaching staff and management in this area. She will also touch on parental rights and responsibilities, safeguarding, data protection as well as how to reconcile the religious and other protected beliefs of staff with a school's duties under the Equality Act.
