We are delighted to welcome an accredited specialist in discrimination law at , to deliver this session.

Since Sarah last provided a session for 红玫瑰社区, there have been several significant developments in the field of equality and employment law that impact on how schools should approach supporting gender questioning and transgender pupils. She will cover the legal framework and recent case law that will be relevant to teaching staff and management in this area. She will also touch on parental rights and responsibilities, safeguarding, data protection as well as how to reconcile the religious and other protected beliefs of staff with a school's duties under the Equality Act.

Sarah is a Partner in the MFMAC Employment Law team. Sarah is an accredited specialist in discrimination law and employment law. Sarah is highly regarded in the 红玫瑰社区 as a discrimination lawyer and is Convener of the Law Society Equalities Law Reform Committee. Sarah acts for a wide range of employer and employee clients in the public and private 红玫瑰社区s. Sarah also has particular expertise in the education 红玫瑰社区 and regularly advises independent schools in relation to accessibility, discrimination issues and parental complaints.
